Ultimate Warrior looks set to make a comeback to WWE, after he sent a message to chairman of the board, Vince McMahon.

Speculation has been rife about his return to the ring, after it was announced that fans could pre-order the Ultimate Warrior as a bonus on the 2014 game.

This lead to fans believing he could join WWE once again, even though the deal was struck with 2k Sports, the makers of the game, rather than WWE.

That was followed by an in-depth interview about his 23-year wrestling career, leading the way to a possible Hall of Fame induction or a return to wrestling on television.

McMahon hen further fuelled the rumours with a message on Twitter.

The message simply stated a “personal welcome back to WWE,” and this lead to a response from Warrior, who seemed eager to resume their business partnership.

“Vince, thank you for your personal welcome back to the WWE Universe.

“Face it, neither one of us were ever any good at being bored or boring others. So coming prepared to kill one another makes for an interesting backup plan."

It is unclear as to who Warrior would fight and when, but a return to the sport now looks increasingly likely.
