Matej Vydra will not be joining Welsh side Swansea this summer, but West Ham could be the perfect option for the Czech international, according to his agent.
The 21-year-old was a sensation in the Championship for Watford last season, netting 22 times as he was named named Championship Player of the Season.
But with Vydra returning to Udinese after the completion of his loan spell, speculation has been rife over the striker's future with the likes of Sunderland, Swansea and West Ham United all expressing an interest this summer.
However, Vydra's agent Ondrej Chovanec, believes it is the latter who are an attractive proposition for his client.
"West Ham are a very good club and Vydra would fit there very well," Chovanec told Sportsmail.
"They have Andy Carroll and Vydra played very well with a big striker last season, Troy Deeney.
"I have spoken to West Ham but not for two weeks now, the ball is in their court."
It is well documented that the Irons are looking to strengthen their attacking options this summer and Vydra could prove to be a real asset if he ended up at Upton Park, complementing new signing Andy Carroll's style perfectly.
Co-owner David Sullivan has gone on record to say "all the team needs is pace and goals", so a return to England for Vydra should not be ruled out yet.
