Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand will celebrate 10 fantastic years as a servant to the Old Trafford side in a testimonial match against Sevilla on August 9.

The 34-year-old - who recently signed a new one-year contract at the club - will face a showdown with the La Liga side ahead of his 12th full season with the club.

The testimonial - which will be broadcasted by BT Sport - will also see a host of stars past and present return to feature for the Red Devils.

Ferdinand has had a incredible career with the Red Devils since signing from Leeds in 2002, winning six Premier League titles, one UEFA Champions League, two League cups and one FIFA Club World Cup.

Stretford End Flags have been asked by the Rio Ferdinand Committee to produce a stadium mosaic for Ferdinand's testimonial game, which will be laid out in the lower tier of the Sir Alex Ferguson stand and held aloft when Ferdinand comes out of the player's tunnel.

This mosaic will be created from 12,000 pieces of card. To see previous examples of these type of mosaics please go to www.stretfordendflags.com.

Tickets remain available for this game and can be purchased through the official Manchester United website by clicking here.

In addition to this testimonial Ferdinand will be releasing a book titled "Rio: My Decade as a Red" which can be pre-ordered by clicking here.
