Manchester United: Five summer transfer failures (1)

Published 8 Comments

Premier League side Manchester United don't usually have any hassle signing their wanted-stars when it comes to the transfer window, but this summer it seems to be a little different for the English champions after they have failed to sign FIVE of their wanted players, with Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas likely to make it six.

New manager David Moyes, who has taken over this summer after Sir Alex Ferguson announced his retirement, has been on the pursuit of several new players, but his offers have either not been good enough or have been turned down in order to join another club.

Manchester United have made two bids for Fabregas, but many people believe the midfielder won't leave the Catalan club in order to join United after his spell at rivals Arsenal.

So putting Fabregas aside, because at the moment, we don't know fully that Moyes will miss out on him, lets look at who United have missed out on so far this summer.
