Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola thinks his team still need to make some minor improvements going into the new 2013/14 season.
The Spaniard's team defeated his former club Barcelona 2-0 at the Allianz Arena in the Uli Hoeness Cup on Wednesday, with goals from Phillip Lahm and Mario Mandzukic making the difference.
Victory over the Spanish champions gave last season's treble winners their fifth win in five pre-season matches so far this summer, but the 42-year-old boss still wants to see more from his players in the month ahead.
"I'm happy with what we've done so far, but we still need a little more time," Guardiola is quoted by Sky Sports. "We still have to improve a bit in terms of our finishing."
Guardiola does expect his team to put in a good performance in their next match, against Borussia Dortmund in the German Super Cup on Saturday, in what will be a repeat of last season's Champions League final.
Bayern ran out 2-1 victors against their Bundesliga rivals at Wembley, to claim Europe's elite club competition for the first time in 12 years.
"We are going to be well prepared and play a good game there," he added.
