With the launch of BT Sport fast-approaching, Michael Owen has been illustrating exactly why he's been made lead co-commentator for the forthcoming season.
Owen, who will be narrating the action that unfolds this coming season in the Premier League, has been getting some extra practise ahead of his new role.
In the latest of a string of adverts promoting BT's venture in the sporting world, Owen can be seen commentating to hilarious effect on old clips of... himself.
A host of the former England striker's greatest moments including his famous hat-trick during the 5-1 destruction of Germany, his goal that sealed Liverpool's FA Cup win over Arsenal and an El Clasico moment of brilliance from his time at Real Madrid, are all mentioned.
Owen also dubs over perhaps the most remembered moment of his career, the legendary goal against Argentina in the 1998 World Cup, arguably responsible for his world notoriety.
A must-watch for any football fan, the clip will dispel any pretences that Owen was ever boring.
