The Atlanta Falcons won't be short of support when they play their home games next season, as all tickets were sold within one day of going on sale.

Last season, the team fell at the final hurdle before the Super Bowl as they lost to eventual runners-up the San Francisco 49ers.

A brilliant season helped them become first seeds, which earned a home game for that unlucky 28-24 NFC Championship final.

But the atmosphere at the Georgia Dome should be just as impressive this year when more than 70, 000 fans convene to cheer their team on.

Speaking to the franchise's official website, Falcons President and CEO Richard J. McKay acknowledged this amazing feat achieved by the team's supporters.

"Our fans' excitement about the upcoming 2013 season is demonstrated by our selling out of all home games with single game tickets only being on sale for one day.

"Because of their passion for our team, the Georgia Dome will continue to be one of the toughest places to play in the NFL this season," exclaimed McKay.

And Falcons followers now only have to wait a little over a month before their season fittingly kicks off at home to the New Orleans Saints.
