20-year-old midfielder Jese Rodriguez is being tipped for a huge future at Real Madrid.
The youngster has recently been rewarded with a new four-year deal by new manager Carlo Ancelotti, which reportedly includes a large buy-out clause.
His new contract will keep him at the club until the start of the 2017/18 season, and by then it would be no surprise for the Spaniard to have become a regular starter in Los Blancos’ line-up.
Rodriguez helped Real Madrid Castilla, the club’s Academy, to gain promotion to the Spanish second division, and last season was the top goalscorer for the division with an impressive 22 goals.
He also has good international experience, having represented his country at various youth levels.
Jese caught the eye of Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas with a notable display in this summer’s under-20 World Cup, where his 5 goals helped his team reach the quarter finals.
With current star man Cristiano Ronaldo nearing the age of 30, Madrid may not have to look any further than their young starlet as a replacement.
Only time will tell just how good Jese can become, but with hard work and the right attitude, this young man has the potential to be a real talent.
