Wilfried Zaha netted his first goal in a Manchester United shirt in their pre-season game against Japanese opposition Cerezo Osaka.
Zaha came on as a second half substitute for Shinji Kagawa, who netted the first goal for United in their 2-2 draw against his former club, after missing a penalty shortly before. The 20-year-old England winger found the net before stoppage time in the 90th minute, scoring the fourth goal of the evening in Japan.
The England international has impressed throughout the Red's pre-season tour, gaining valuable minutes under David Moyes. Youngsters Jesse Lingard and Adnan Januzaj also deserve credit for their impressive performances during the tour, Lingard being United's top goalscorer with three goals in four games.
Although the Old Trafford club haven't been on the best of form hroughout the trip, winning only one of their four games, Zaha has been spectacular and shown his potential in the United line-up.
The Manchester United winger is hoping to continue his goal scoring form throughout the rest of tour and into the upcoming season. Zaha has been very appreciative of the minutes he has been receiving on the pitch and claims that he is hoping for a repeat in the season to come.
More minutes on the pitch for Zaha will bring the best out of the youngster, aiding his improvement as a player and will help the £15 million signing reach his full capability.
Wilfried Zaha has the potential to play like he has done throughout the tour, and has the capability to control the wing and become a goalscoring threat for the opposition.
