Nani wanted by Monaco and PSG

Published Add your comment

Monaco are reportedly set to make the first move in the race to sign Manchester United winger Luis Nani, with Paris Saint-Germain also considering an approach for the Portugal international.

The 26-year-old faces an uncertain future at Old Trafford and may well be forced to consider his options this summer and, according to SportsDirect News, Monaco are prepared to offer him a route out of the club.

Monaco are readying a bid to test Manchester United's resolve to keep Nani, who may find his options limited further next season following the Premier League champions' acquisition of Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace.

The billionaire-backed Ligue 1 side have been the big spenders in the transfer window this summer, and are now looking to recruit Nani following the signings of Joao Moutinho, James Rodriguez and Radamel Falcao.

Monaco's move for Nani may prompt PSG into action, with the French champions touted as a potential destination for the Portuguese over the past few months.

Galatasaray, Roma and Juventus have also been linked with Nani, whose days with the club appear to be numbered.

Nani signed for Manchester United from Sporting in 2007 and has made 212 appearances and scored 40 goals during six years with the Red Devils.
