Real Madrid midfielder Mesut Ozil thinks the team are adapting to new manager Carlo Ancelotti's ideas, and is predicting they will do well next season.
The German, who signed for the Primera Liga club from Werder Bremen in 2010, has so far only worked under Jose Mourinho in his three years at the Santiago Bernabeu, but he thinks the Italian boss has already stamped his authority on the team.
Speaking to the press, he said: "Ancelotti knows exactly what he wants.
"He has clear ideas, and we are adapting to them. He will help this club grow, and I'm certain we're going to be successful this season."
The 24-year-old went on to say that he is unfazed by new competition for his starting place, as Isco was signed for €30m from Malaga earlier this summer, and that if he is selected, he would rather start in a central position.
"I'm not worried about the arrival of Isco. He's a great player and a fantastic signing for Madrid.
"I don't mind where I play, although the right wing isn't my position - I prefer playing through the middle, where I can be creative."
