Big spending French outfit AS Monaco are believed to have been offered the chance to sign Manchester United's out of favour Portuguese winger Nani, according to Sky Sports.
Monaco's sporting director Vadim Vasilyev claim's that Nani has been offered to him and hasn't ruled out making a bid.
When speaking to French newspaper L'Equipe he said: "He has been proposed to us, he's a very good player, but there have been no talks yet, We still have time to make a few alterations before the end of the transfer window, if needed," this suggesting there is an interest in the player and it's believed the decision will be left to manager Claudio Ranieri.
Monaco are so far Europe's biggest spenders this transfer window, spending over £100m, including £50 million for Colombian striker, Radamel Falcao.
They have also signed winger James Rodriguez and midfielder Joao Moutinho, both from FC Porto for a combined £50 million fee.
To add to this, French midfielder Jeremy Toulalan joined from Malaga and defenders Eric Abidal and Ricardo Carvalho both joined the Ligue 2 champions from La Liga giants FC Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.
It is thought Nani and Manchester United wouldn't hesitate to part company should an offer suitable for both come in, and AS Monaco look like they can provide that with their financial muscle and their ambitions to be a force not only domestically but also in Europe.
