Wilfried Zaha continued to enhance his burgeoning reputation on Monday, playing a superb 'no-look' assist for Fabio, who finished the move in style to give Manchester United a 3-0 lead over Kitchee.
The 20-year-old, who became a Manchester United player in January before going back on loan to former club Crystal Palace until the end of last season, showed just why the Red Devils decided to fork out £15m for his services with a sublime piece of skill on the right flank.
After retrieving the ball from the byline, Zaha played a beautiful pass - without looking - into the path of Fabio with the outside of his boot, allowing the Brazilian full-back to hit the ball first time into the bottom corner of the net.
It was a goal that would have delighted the watching David Moyes, whose side went into the break with a 3-0 lead thanks to earlier goals from Danny Welbeck and Chris Smalling.
Zaha scored his first Manchester United goal in last Friday's 2-2 draw with Cerezo Osaka - and may have done enough in recent weeks to convince Moyes to start him in the Community Shield, which takes place a week on Sunday against Championship outfit Wigan Athletic.
