With Luis Suarez set for a transfer away from Liverpool, The Sun takes a look at possible replacements who could fill the void left by the Uruguayan striker, should he depart Anfield this summer.
1 – Jackson Martinez
The powerful Colombian star netted 26 goals in 30 appearances for Portuguese club Porto last season. Although after interest from Napoli, manager Brendan Rodgers would have to move quickly to sign the star.
It should be known that it may be hard to sign the Colombian star, with many other interested clubs all able to offer Champions League football.
2 - Luis Muriel
The young striker grabbed 11 goals for Udinese last season and many clubs have had their eye on the ace.
He is only 22 and could be a real asset for the future, yet at the moment could be deemed by some as to young.
3 - Roberto Soldado
The Valencia striker has bagged 81 goals in 141 appearances for current club Valencia. The striker has a £26million release clause and definitely would offer a goal-return for the money.
It should also be known that Spurs have showed an interest in the striker.
4 - Oscar Cardozo
The striker is well known with Benfica's fans, after banging in the goals for the club in the past six seasons. Although after conflict with manager Jorge Jesus at the end of last season rumours are flying that the striker is set to leave.
The club demand a pricey £15million for the striker although he would bring a real poachers instinct to the Anfield club.
5 - Leandro Damiao
The Brazilian is known to have been a long-term target for Premier League side Tottenham. But, he would make a great signing for Liverpool.
He would cost a lot, yet would be known for terrorising English defences.
6 - Pablo Osvaldo
The Argentinian striker has been linked with moves to both Valencia and Fulham although no deals have taken place.
He scored a total of 16 goals last season for his current club Roma and played eight times for Italy.
7 – Fred
At 29-years-old he might not be Brendan Rodgers's preferred choice of striker addition, although he would come at a cheaper price.
The Brazil international would be regarded as a relative bargain for the Liverpool side, offering both goals and experience on the pitch.
