Gillingham striker Adebayo Akinfenwa is rated the strongest person in EA's FIFA13, and he's stated he'd like a crack at the Premier League. But, could he really make it in England's top-flight?

Akinfenwa has played for 11 different clubs over his career, but is currently enjoying his second spell with the Gills after being released by Northampton Town at the end of the 2012/13 season - even though he was their top scorer.

Known by most football fans around the world, because of how odd he is, Akinfenwa is not the everyday looking footballer. The 5ft 10in, 16 stone front-man weighs in six stone heavier than Liverpool's Raheem Sterling!

Akinfenwa is not the fastest of players, but because of his sheer strength, he doesn't need to be. He plays like a bully, he's great as long as he's on the same wave length as his team-mates. He dominates defenders - as you'd expect - and uses his strength to protect the ball.

But could he cut it in the Premier League? It's something we'd all like to see, but it's very unlikely. The Premier League is a fast-moving game with lots of counter attacks, and it's unlikely Akinfenwa would be able to deal with the nature of elite level football.

However, his shooting is good as well as his heading. He's a decent passer of the ball and can defend the ball very well. If he was used alongside a fast striker and fast wingers, you could use his mighty strength massively. He's a big boy, defenders are tougher in the Premier League, but I think he'd manage it.

He wouldn't be the best of players to try and break the line of defence and get through on goal, he'd be a great 'distraction' player. Someone who could make fake runs and draw defenders away from the second striker who will have much more pace. If he was used correctly in the team and was given his own role, I think he'd be a great asset to a mid-table team.

Do you think Adebayo Akinfenwa would be a great player in the Premier League? Would you like to see him there, tell me below!
