Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski has unwittingly become the hero of the Gunners' Far East pre-season tour, due to his uncanny Alan Partridge impersonation.

The Germany international striker is better known for his finishing prowess on the pitch, but it turns out that the 28-year-old frontman is equally as talented off it - even if he doesn't quite know it.

Ex-Cologne forward Podolski has become renowned among fans for saying 'Aha', much like Steve Coogan's fictional television and radio presenter, Alan Partridge.

Podolski has shown he is up for a laugh and is a popular character in the Arsenal dressing room, having dressed up as a Samurai warrior during their trip to the Far East, but it's his Partridge impersonation that has cemented his position as the joker in the Gunners pack.

First-team regulars such as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott and Per Mertesacker are among the Arsenal stars to have attempted their own Partridge impersonation having been inspired by Podolski, but it's the Arsenal number nine who is by far the most hilarious - especially as he's seemingly unaware of what he is doing.

Watch the highlights from Arsenal's pre-season tour in the video below, and keep an eye out for Podolski's uncanny impersonation.
