John Lineker recently had his upcoming UFC 163 opponent changed at short notice, but the Brazilian isn't going to start complaining about it.
Veteran Phil Harris was initially who he was set to fight this weekend, but due to injury, the 30-year-old was replaced by the upcoming Jose Maria.
The late change will obviously have altered Lineker's preparations as he is now facing the prospect of a different type of fighter.
Yet the 23-year-old is full of confidence and raring to go this Saturday, regardless of who he has to beat.
He has been quoted by UFC.com as saying: "I train to fight the greatest fighters. So I am okay with the opponent change. I am prepared for every situation in this fight."
This incredible attitude will certainly stand the Hands of Stone in good stead in the future if he continues to be able to mentally and physically prepare for any possible opponent, even on short notice.
The flyweight turned pro when he was just 18, and enjoyed a brilliant 13-match unbeaten streak throughout 2010 and 2011.
