3- Rickie Lambert | Southampton
Southampton's fans absolutely adore Lambert, but apart from that he's not highly rated by other football fans.
The 31-year-old striker has been prolific since moving to the Saints in 2009, scoring 103 goals in 196 games.
Now, when Lambert moved to Southampton from Bristol Rovers, the Saints were in League One, but as time progressed, Lambert performed and Southampton found themselves in the Championship then ultimately the Premier League.
Rickie was the major factor in Southampton having achieved so much in the past few years, his goals were so vital during their promotion campaigns and is truly a club favourite now.
Along with Frank Lampard, Lambert was the top scoring Englishman in the Premier League last season, scoring 15 goals. That is an incredible achievement for a player that has never played in the league before and that plays for a club ended up 14th in the league.
Like Nolan, Rickie is extremely dominant in the air and at times made top defenders look silly. I think he could be an asset to the England squad one day, a very clever player that holds the ball up and brings people in to the game.
