Less than 90 minutes into the Belgian Pro League season and we've already got a pretty amazing contender for miss of the season.
Sporting Charleroi attacker Jamal Thiare was left with his head in his hands after a shocking miss in the 82nd minute against Belgian giants Club Brugge.
The 20-year-old forward came off the bench in the first match of the campaign with his side looking for a route back into the tie having slipped 1-0 behind.
And when Thiare danced through the Brugge defence and past the goalkeeper, it looked like the substitute was ready to provide just that.
But the Senegal-born star got his feet all tangled up at worst possible moment, and a left-foot swing-and-a-miss sent him sprawling to the turf, and the ball trickling harmlessly back into the keeper's grateful arms.
