Jose Mourinho has admitted that he is looking forward to Friday, when his new Chelsea side will come up against Inter Milan.
The Special One is reportedly eagerly anticipating the chance to see some old faces when his previous and current employers clash in Indianapolis.
Mourinho left the San Siro to join Real Madrid in 2010, having led the Italian outfit to Champions League glory, along with back-to-back Serie A wins.
Mourinho told reporters: “This will be the first time I’ve seen all of them since the Champions League final. May 2010 was the last time I was with them and now I will go to meet them.
“There are now only six or seven players from my time there but all of the staff are fantastic.
“I’m very much connected with them so it will be good."
Inter have had a negative change of fortune since Mourinho's departure, and last season finished a disappointing 9th in the league.
Massimo Moratti, Inter's owner, has shed light on an apparent phone-call that he shared with Mourinho, in which the Portuguese boss stated his intent to return to the San Siro in three-years time. These claims have not been confirmed however.
