Chelsea could lose out to Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain in the race for 18-year-old Sporting Lisbon forward Bruma, according to the Express.
The Portuguese starlet, who has been compared to compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo, was the subject of an £8m bid from the Blues back in June.
However, a deal between Sporting and Chelsea has not been reached, which could allow mega-rich French club PSG to swoop.
Bruma, who lit up the recent Under-20 World Cup with a series of impressive performances, expressed his desire to leave the Portuguese club last month - but Sporting are reportedly holding out for at least £15m.
That asking price is unlikely to deter PSG, though. The Parisians have spent bid again this summer - namely on Edinson Cavani and Lucas Digne - and will be keen to add Bruma to their ranks in order to stay ahead of fellow big spenders AS Monaco, who have made their intentions clear with a series of eye-catching deals.
Galatasaray were also keen on Bruma, but have cooled their interest after Chelsea and PSG emerged as the frontrunners for his signature.
