Chelsea starlet Lucas Piazon is set to follow Patrick van Aanholt and Gael Kakuta to Vitesse Arnhem this summer, with the attacking midfielder about to finalise a season-long loan deal, reports talkSPORT.

According to sources in Holland, the 19-year-old Brazilian will head to the Eredivisie in a bid to gain more first-team experience, as he continues his development with a view to later breaking into the Chelsea squad.

Jose Mourinho is said to rate Piazon highly, but with the strong competition for places at Stamford Bridge in the coming season, felt it better to send the player out on loan for the 2013/14 campaign.

Chelsea boast a strong relationship with Vitesse, having previously sent a number of promising youth players to the GelreDome.

With Kakuta and Van Aanholt having already agreed terms with the Dutch club earlier this summer, it should provide a good platform for Piazon to hone is skills further, in an environment that is likely to feel like home-from-home.

Earlier this transfer window Chelsea also agreed a deal for the signing of Marco van Ginkel - the Holland U21 international moving in the opposite direction, with a view to having a role to play in Mourinho's senior team in the Premier League this year.

Van Ginkel impressed at the U21 European Championships in Israel in June, which prompted the current Europa League champions to stump up £8million for the talented youngster's signature.
