Leeds Rhinos continued their pursuit of the league leaders with a 30-18 victory at the London Broncos.

Brian McDermott's side achieved their third consecutive victory when they visited the capital, thanks to tries from Jamie Peacock, Ben Jones-Bishop, Alex Foster and Paul McShane.

The away side raced into the lead with a couple of tries, before the Broncos launched a mini-revival. Having been thrashed 70-0 in last week's Challenge Cup semi-final, the hosts were keen to regain some morale.

And that was achieved when both Luke Dorn and Dan Sarginson went over the line either side of half-time to cut the deficit. But it was always going to be difficult to get anything against a side hungry for points at the top of the league.

McShane's introduction to the game served as a big turning point, with the hooker scoring two tries to put the game just out of the Broncos' reach.

The win moves Leeds within three points of leaders Huddersfield Giants, although they have now played a game more.

Meanwhile Tony Rea's team remain rooted to the bottom of the Super League.
