The Rock could make another return to the WWE, after giving an interview refusing to rule out another comeback.
On a potential ring return, the Rock said: "I'd like to leave it open. But if I'd never wrestle again, I'd be very content with that. Winning or losing never really mattered to me.
"The whole idea was to put on a great match. Got injured in that match. Still was able to walk out on my own, which I was more happy about.
I don't know. We'll see," said eight-time champion.
The speculation has prompted debate about who The Rock would match-up against if he were to return to the WWE.
The main candidate remains John Cena, although the pair have already met twice. A potential decider - The Rock beat Cena first time round before losing on the second occasion - could be an attractive proposition, but some groups of fans have called for a more imaginative fight to take place.
The re-ignition of an old rivalry with the likes of the legendary Stone Cold Steven Austin would surely captivate even the most un-intrigued audiences, but for the moment any potential fight concerning The Rock will have to wait in the pipeline until a further announcement.
Whilst the WWE would welcome a figure such as The Rock back with open arms, whether or not he will opt for a return is open to interpretation.
