Real Madrid's Isco assists Benzema with stunning pass

Manchester City fans - look on in despair.

Isco showed Manuel Pellegrini and City exactly what they missed out on when the Spanish starlet opted to join Real Madrid ahead of the Citizens.

The 21-year-old displayed his huge talent during Real Madrid's 3-1 friendly win over LA Galaxy last night by delivering a superb cross-field pass to Karim Benzema.

Splitting the defence, Benzema was left with just the goalkeeper to beat to score the first of his two goals on the night.

Isco turned down the chance to follow his former coach Pellegrini from Malaga to the Etihad stadium, instead opting to join Madrid in a €27million deal.

Although this was just a friendly, the early signs are that the fee will soon be considered a bargain as the next generation of Spanish stars look to be led by this young star.
