Luis Suarez should turn down the chance to join Arsenal and stay with his current club Liverpool according to former Arsenal striker Ian Wright.
Arsenals certainly have shown an interest in the striker, with the Gunners having two offers rejected for Liverpool’s want away striker.
Suarez wants to play Champions League football, something which Arsenal can offer, featuring in their 17th consecutive season whereas Liverpool have not appeared in the competition since 2009. However, Wright thinks that the striker should stay at Liverpool.
He told BBC Sport: "I’d welcome him at Arsenal with open arms.
"But if I was Suarez, when you look at everything, it does seem strange he would want to go to Arsenal. I would give Liverpool another season."
The Uruguayan striker has spoken of his desire to leave Liverpool just a year after signing a five-and-a -half year contract in August 2012.
The striker believes that Arsenal's bid of £40million plus £1 triggered a clause in his contract that allows him to speak to potential new clubs.
Although his club say that a £50 million pound valuation must be met otherwise they won’t consider selling their star.
