Monaco have agreed a fee with Sporting Lisbon for goalkeeper Rui Patricio, according to the Daily Express.
25-year-old Patricio, a Portuguese international who has also been widely linked with a move to Arsenal throughout the current transfer window, was reportedly given a £13 million price tag by Sporting but it looks like Monaco have agreed a deal worth an initial £9 million.
Patricio will become the latest arrival in a busy summer for Monaco, with the club seemingly extremely eager to make swift use of their new-found wealth.
Other new faces that will line up at the Stade Louis II include prolific Colombian marksman Falcao, who was signed from Atletico Madrid for a fee believed to be in the region of £50 million and former Porto midfield duo Joao Moutinho and James Rodriguez who joined in a combined deal worth £60 million.
Manager Claudio Ranieri was also able to snap up experienced former Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho on a one-year deal following the expiration of his Real Madrid contract.
