Arsene Wenger believes Cesc Fabregas will stay at Barcelona despite interest from Manchester United. The Arsenal boss says he's certain Fabregas, who played under Wenger for eight years, will stay for at least one more season at the Nou Camp.

But a separate report claims Manchester United have not given up hope of signing the 26-year-old Barca playmaker. The Premier League champions have already had two offers turned down, and the report claims they're set to make a new and improved third bid for the midfielder in the next few days.

Gareth Bale risks being fined by Tottenham if he does not report for training on Tuesday amid interest from Real Madrid. The 24-year-old is reportedly 'unhappy and disappointed' in Tottenham's stance over a potentially world-record transfer, but a failure to report to the training ground could lead to a heavy punishment.

Julian Draxler has admitted it was not an easy decision to reject a move to Manchester City this summer. The Schalke star is set to stay in Germany despite reports linking him with a €60m move to City or Real Madrid.

Chelsea continued their preparations for the new season with an impressive 2-0 win over AC Milan in America. Kevin De Bruyne and Andre Schurrle found the net either side of half time to secure a place in the final against Real Madrid on Wednesday in Miami.
