Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says it will take a 'massive' offer to persuade the club to sell striker Luis Suarez.
Liverpool have compared Real Madrid's bid for Gareth Bale as a 'massive' offer which will be impossible for the Anfield club to turn down, if the similar fee was offered to Suarez.
Rodgers described this as a 'Gareth Bale' sized bid, as Real Madrid prepare a £100million bid for the Welsh international.
The 26-year-old striker has his Liverpool future in doubt, after the Uruguayan international is seeking a way out of Anfield for his passion to play Champions League football next season, something Liverpool will not provide the striker in the upcoming campaign.
Multiple Premier League clubs have been interested in signing the Uruguayan striker, with Arsenal the only club reportedly making a bid in the region of £40million, which was later rejected by Liverpool.
According to SkySources, Brendan Rodgers believes Gareth Bale should not be valued more than Luis Suarez, and clubs should be expected to pay a 'massive' fee for the 26-year-old, if they were to secure his services.
Suarez received a welcoming reception from the Liverpool fans at Anfield in Steven Gerrard's testimonial match against Olympiacos at the weekend, showing that Reds fans still have hope in the player remaining at Liverpool and producing for the club again in 2013/14.
