Manchester United played out an entertaining 1-1 draw with Swedish outfit AIK at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, bringing an end to their pre-season tour.
David Moyes' side have faced a wide range of opponents differing in terms of quality as they prepare to defend their Premier League title, but the Swedes proved stern opposition ahead of United's curtain raiser with Swansea on August 17.
Currently lying in third place in the Allsvenskan having played over half their fixtures, AIK are the form team in the Swedish top flight.
And they showed exactly why they're chasing the Swedish title with some slick passing in the first half, before taking the lead early in the second courtesy of Robin Quaison.
The young starlet seemed to be out of options before cutting inside and unleashing a thunderous curling effort past the helpless Ben Amos in the United goal.
United dusted themselves off after falling behind and responded in all too familiar fashion, levelling the scores through Chilean Angelo Henriquez, who tapped in the lively Wilfried Zaha's drilled cross.
The former Crystal Palace youngster has been a real bright spark for Manchester United on their pre-season tour, and has seemingly forced his way into Moyes' first-team plans, with rumours initially suggesting that Zaha could be set for a loan move away from Old Trafford to continue his development.
Having endured an up and down pre-season in terms of results, Moyes will be happy to have seen his side draw level, whose attentions now turn firmly towards their Community Shield clash with Wigan Athletic this Sunday, before kicking off their title defence at the Liberty Stadium on August 17.
