West Brom beat Cork City 6-0 in their penultimate pre-season friendly with summer signing Nicolas Anelka bagging a hat-trick for Steve Clarke's side at Turner's Cross on Tuesday evening.
The former France international striker broke the deadlock for the Baggies in the 25th minute, before adding two more in the second-half, to take his personal tally to six goals in six friendly matches ahead of the 2013/14 campaign.
A Graham Dorrans brace and a goal from former Cork striker Shane Long completed the rout against the League of Ireland Premier side, as attention now turns to Saturday's clash against Serie 'A' side Bologna at The Hawthorns.
That match will be West Brom's final warm-up game before the start of the new Premier League season, which sees them take on Southampton at home on the opening day on August 17.
