Manchester United boss David Moyes has insisted that the club will sign new players before the end of the transfer window.
United have only signed Uruguayan youngster Guillermo Varela so far this summer, but the Red Devils boss has assured fans that more new faces will be added to the champions of England.
Moyes saw his side draw 1-1 against AIK Stockholm last night and after the game told reporters: "I do think we'll be bringing players in before the window shuts. They will come.
"We're moving along but if you said, 'Is anything close?', I couldn't give you an answer.
"I'm relaxed, we've got a squad here and it's the same group of players that won the Premier League last year. You can never tell until the season starts but we are looking forward to it."
The Red Devils boss has seen reported bids fail for Thiago Alcantara, Cesc Fabregas and Leighton Baines this summer.
Moyes has remained tight-lipped on the potential signing of Fabregas, saying: "I can't really say anything about that. We will sign some players before the end of the window.
However, Moyes reiterated his confidence in the squad the he took over on July 1, stating: "And these are the champions of England. They are a good squad and I look forward to going into the new season with them."
Moyes will take charge of his first competitive game as boss of United against Wigan Athletic in the Community Shield on Sunday, before taking his side to Swansea City on August 17 as the Red Devils look to defend their Premier League title.
