The NBA have revealed their standard 82-game season schedule for the 2013/14 campaign.
Notably there are three games commencing on opening night, including the Chicago Bulls taking a trip to Miami to face the Heat and the LA Cippers taking on the LA Lakers in a Californian derby.
Christmas Day will see five contests, with the Bulls facing the new-look Brooklyn Nets side, Oklahoma City playing the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden and Miami Heat turning out against the Lakers in what promises to be a tight encounter.
One game in particular that is likely to draw a lot of attention takes place on February 19, when Dwight Howard, who rejected the Lakers to join the Houston Rockets, takes to the court against his former club.
The leagues annual All-Star game will be played on February 16, with New Orleans hosting the event, and the regular season will come to an end on April 16, before the playoffs begin three days later.
