Manchester United are reportedly preparing bids for Everton pair Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines.
David Moyes wants to reunite with his former star players after failing to land the Red Devils' top targets.
According to the Guardian, the Premier League champions are considering a double swoop for midfielder Fellaini and full-back Leighton Baines.
Everton have already rejected a £12m bid for Baines earlier this summer, while manager Roberto Martinez claimed that there has been no offer for Fellaini.
"There are no bids," Martínez said. "When you read that someone is interested in someone, it doesn't mean there is a bid on the table."
Manchester United are eyeing Baines as a replacement for Monaco target Patrice Evra, 32. While Moyes has a tough task to replace club legend Paul Scholes, who retired last season.
The Red Devils have had two bids rejected by Barcelona for midfielder Cesc Fabregas - and Moyes has now turned his attention to Fellaini since Barcelona remain adamant that the Spaniard will not be sold.
However, the Daily Mail suggest that Manchester United have not ruled not signing Fabregas but claim that Fellaini is keen to reunite with Moyes at Old Trafford this summer.
