Barcelona have made a bid for Chelsea's Brazilian defender David Luiz, according to Sky Sports.
The Spanish club have been reportedly interested in the defender all summer but have only just made a move for Luiz this week.
Unfortunately for Barcelona, Jose Mourinho has stated that the Brazilian is not for sale and is in the Chelsea boss's plans for the new season - so the bid is more than likely to be rejected by the London club.
Speaking to Sky Sports after Chelsea's pre-season friendly with AC Milan Mourinho said: "David has come back with us fantastically and we have to use his quality.
"He has big self-confidence and self-esteem, especially when he comes up from the back with the ball."
Luiz is currently recovering from a hamstring injury but the Portuguese boss is hopeful that he will be fit and ready to play in Chelsea's final pre-season fixture against Roma on Saturday and will be fit for the new Premier League season.
Luiz was born in Diadema, Brazil and started his career at Sao Paulo before making a move from Benfica to Chelsea back in 2011 for a fee of €25m.
Luiz has been a stand out performer since joining the Blues and has made 62 appearances for the London club.
