Rio Ferdinand says it is a "real achievement" to have been named in the PFA Team of the Year no less than six times in his career.
The Manchester United defender has been selecting the top ten moments of his illustrious 11-year spell at Old Trafford ahead of his testimonial against Sevilla tomorrow.
After becoming the world's most expensive defender following his switch from Leeds in 2002 - the same year of his first nomination into the PFA XI - Ferdinand demonstrated just why Sir Alex Ferguson had decided to splash the cash by earning a spot in the team for three consecutive years between 2005 and 2008.
Showing that class is permanent he earned a berth in the 2012/13 PFA Team of the Year, ten seasons after his first inclusion.
He told GiveMeSport: "To be voted for and named by the players as one of the best that season is a real achievement in itself, so to have done it six times is a real great feeling, and hopefully I can get another one or two in."
Stay tuned for the next instalment of Rio's most memorable Manchester United moments - we'll be counting down alongside his official Facebook page as we build towards his testimonial on August 9th.
