Udinese midfielder Andrea Lazzari is set for YouTube stardom after scoring a magnificent left-footed strike from his own half in the Europa League qualifiers on Thursday night.
The 28-year-old, who joined the Bianconeri from Fiorentina last year, spotted the Siroki Brijeg goalkeeper off his line and opted to shoot from just outside the centre circle.
It proved an inspired decision.
Dispatched with the ideal amount of pace, swerve and accuracy, Lazzari's remarkable strike nestled perfectly into the back of the net.
Cue wild celebrations from his dumbstruck team-mates.
Lazzari's goal, scored 10 minutes before full-time, put Udinese 2-0 up on the night. And the Serie A outfit went on to score twice more before the final whistle to book their place in the Europa League play-off round.
This goal has to be seen to be believed. To watch this early goal of the season contender, watch the video - provided by 101greatgoals - below.
