Luiz Gustavo would prefer moving to England over Wolfsburg, according to Bild.
The Brazilian midfielder, who won the treble with Bayern Munich and the Confederations Cup with Brazil this summer, has been linked with an exit from the Bavarian club.
The German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg has publicly stated it's interest in Gustavo, but it appears he would prefer a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea and Arsenal rumoured to be interested.
It seems that he believes that playing in international competitions with a Premier League side would help him get a place in the Brazilian first side at next year's World Cup.
Wolfsburg are known to be the financially capable, but didn't qualify for next season's Champions League or the Europa League.
Bayern executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge made this clear when he stated in an interview that: "The question is if Luiz wants to move to a club that unfortunately isn't playing international football next season, or if he has bigger plans."
Gustavo is estimated to have a transfer value of around 15.5million euros and has a contract at Bayern until 2015.
