Brazilian keeper scores dramatic last-gasp equaliser

There are few better - or rarer - sights in football than watching a goalkeeper wheel away in euphoric celebration after scoring a dramatic late goal.

But this latest video shows Brazil 'keeper Lauro doing just that, after scoring an injury-time header to earn 10-man Portuguesa a 1-1 draw against Flamengo in the Brazilian championship.

With the clock ticking down to full time, Lauro was granted permission to go up for a corner. Little did he know that he was to become hero of the hour.

The 32-year-old, who is currently playing on loan from Internacional, rose highest to meet an outswinging corner, and his planted header somehow managed to evade both the opposition goalkeeper and the player on the far post.

It would not have been a proper goalkeeper goal unless it sparked wild celebrations - but, fortunately, Lauro and his Portuguesa team-mates didn't disappoint.
