There have been quite a few reports suggesting that Chelsea's popular Brazilian centre-back David Luiz is interested in a move to Barcelona - and that he is prepared to schedule a meeting with Jose Mourinho in order to force a move.

But are these rumours the result of writers trying to sell more papers, or is the flamboyant Brazilian actually interested in a move?

First of all, Luiz has looked like he is enjoying his time at the London club. Whenever Chelsea TV air some behind-the-scenes footage, Luiz is almost always joking around with the players, and having a good time. He also seems to have become quite close with fellow Brazilians Oscar, Ramires, and Lucas Piazon.

Secondly, he has already managed to win three trophies in under three seasons with the Blues. Luiz has already secured winners' medals in the Champions League, FA Cup and the Europa league in his short tenure with the London club, and new boss Mourinho will surely look to improve on their silverware.

Finally, ever since his very first game for Chelsea, Luiz has become a firm fan favourite. His flamboyant attitude, knack of getting into goalscoring positions, fantastic penalties, and indeed his goal tally have helped him become one of the most popular players in Chelsea's current squad.

It doesn't look like Chelsea have even given Luiz a reason for wanting to leave the club. He currently has almost everything that he could possibly want in wages, silverware, popularity and in the amount of goals he scores for the Blues. Although Barcelona claim that the centre-back is interested in joining them, it looks like a far cry from the actual truth.
