Oh yes, it's Arsenal who are signing someone. Earlier this week Luis Gustavo told said he will favour a move to England rather than to another German club.
The 26 year old Brazilian is on the verge of joining Arsenal for £14 million and it could happen as early as this week just after winning the Treble with Bayern Munich.
Gustavo has become a important member of the Bayern squad and has made over 100 appearances for the Bavarians but the recent signings of Mario Gotze and Thiago Alcantara have pushed the Brazilian down the pecking order.
With Bayern's midfield seems awfully crowded, Gustavo is understandably trying to force a move to the Premier League this summer.
Currently Arsenal only have one top-class defensive midfielder in Mikel Arteta, who is 31.
After the sale of Alex Song to Barcelona last summer, Gustavo could fit in perfectly and would be a rock at the back. The guarantee of regular first team action may also be appealing for the Brazil international in a World Cup year.
The Gunners have found this transfer window tough despite being given a £70 million budget, having only signed Yaya Sanogo on a free transfer.
Signing Gustavo would give them confidence to make more acquisitions. He has proven than he can perform at the top level.
Making this purchase would help to instil some faith from the Arsenal supporters back in Arsene Wenger and push the club closer to competing for the Premier League title.
