A little over a month ago Mats Moller Daehli was sold by Manchester United to their former striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Molde FK.
The move came as quite a surprise for many as the youngster that won Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year Award was thought to have a promising future at Old Trafford.
Previous winners of the Jimmy Murphy Award include Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Phil Neville.
Timing and conditions, however, led Daehli to Molde. The combination of Molde needing a replacement for another former United player Magnus Eikrem to SC Heerenveen and Daehli himself wanting to play for Solskjaer both resulted in him requesting a move to Molde.
Speculation, however, suggests that United have secured a buy-back clause to ensure their chances of getting him back, should he ever be sold from Molde to a bigger club.
At Molde, Daehli has gotten a good start. He came on as a sub in Molde's 2-0 victory over Brann, and got his first start this weekend against Songdal.
In the match against Songdal, that ended with a 2-1 victory for Molde, he showed sparkling technical skills in midfield as well as brilliant vision. This led to him assisting Joona Toivio when he scored Molde's equalising goal, as well as being awarded with the Man of the Match award.
Daehli has shown his potential so far at Molde and it remains to be seen if Solskjaer can make sure he continues his development and grow enough to return to a bigger club.
Maybe he will even one day return to Old Trafford and take his place amongst other former winners of the Jimmy Murphy Award that grew to become club legends.
