Julio Cesar has revealed that he is still confident that he can seal a move away from Queens Park Rangers before the end of the summer transfer window.
The Brazilian has been trying to move away from the west London club all summer with both the club and himself keen to part ways.
QPR need to sell Cesar to get him off their wage bill whilst Cesar needs top flight football to stay in contention for a World Cup place next summer with Brazil.
Arsenal have been continuously linked with the international as Arsene Wenger looks to provide more competition between the posts after selling Vito Mannone to Sunderland this summer.
Cesar was reportedly close to sealing moves to both Napoli and Fiorentina before failure to agree personal terms saw the deals break down.
However, Cesar believes he still has plenty of time to find a new club before the transfer window shuts and says all his concentration is going in to the national team at the moment.
He told Globo Esporte: "I am still a Queens Park Rangers player. A lot can happen before the end of August.
"At the moment my focus is on the national team and I am looking forward to seeing my team-mates again."
It is still not clear if Wenger will try to bring Cesar to the Emirates as he continues to concentrate his efforts on signing Luis Suarez from Liverpool and Luiz Gustavo from Bayern Munich.
Arsenal kick-off their season against Aston Villa on Saturday.
