Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria has rubbished talk of a potential switch to Tottenham.
The winger has been reportedly put forward as a potential makeweight in Madrid's move for Gareth Bale this summer.
However the Argentinian says he will not leave the Bernabeu, and is happy to fight for his place under new boss Carlo Ancelotti.
"I'm staying in Madrid, because I have three years left on my contract and I'm very happy here," the 25-year-old told reporters.
"Also in [Ancelotti’s] selection, I have been playing more frequently in the middle.
"I’m used to and I feel comfortable playing there."
Meanwhile Madrid look set to continue their pursuit of Bale after talks between the Spanish giants and Spurs appeared to break down.
Both Ancelotti and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez have moved to play down speculation recently having been keen to talk up the move in the past.
However the Sun report today that Bale is "confused and bitter" over Tottenham's unwillingness to let him leave, and is ready to refuse to play for Spurs in order to get his dream move.
