Liverpool speedster Raheem Sterling has is close to completing a season-loan to fellow Premier League side West Ham, according to the Daily Star.
The deal will look to further improve relations between the two sides who have successfully seen the £15 million transfer of Andy Carroll, from the Reds to the Hammers along with the £6 million deal for Stewart Downing, also heading from Merseyside to East London.
The youngster, born in Jamaica, has already earned a full international cap for England and the 18-year old could follow Pepe Reina and Suso with a loan move to find regular first team football away from Liverpool this season
This would be a notable acquisition for West Ham as manager Sam Allardyce has previously admitted his team lack pace, something Sterling has in abundance. The Hammers have performed well in the transfer market this summer, but are still lacking another striker.
Regardless, the signing of Sterling would be quite a coup for Allardyce. But do you want to see Sterling playing away from Anfield this season?
