Swansea City midfielder Jonathan de Guzman is set to miss Saturday's clash with Manchester United after he was taken to hospital with concussion while on international duty with Holland.
The Dutchman was involved in a collision with former Liverpool player Dirk Kuyt during training on Tuesday evening, and was later diagnosed with mild-concussion, ruling him out of tomorrow's friendly against Portugal.
De Guzman, who was due to start against the Portuguese, is also a major doubt for the start of Premier League campaign, with the Swans preparing to welcome reigning champions Manchester United to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
Coincidently it was United's star striker Robin van Persie who was first on hand to aid his Dutch teammate, before he was bandaged up and stretchered off the pitch by paramedics.
With a possible lay-off of two weeks, De Guzman may also miss the club's Europa League tie with Petrolul Ploiesti of Portugal next week, as well as a Swansea's visit to Tottenham.
