American fans gazed their eyes upon some of their sporting idols on Saturday night as Real Madrid came up against Inter Milan in a pre-season friendly in St. Louis.
The players would have been focused on improving their fitness and preparing themselves for the new season, however they would not have expected what was to come.
The game itself went to plan for Carlo Ancelotti's side as they concluded their tour of the United States with a 3-0 win over the Italian giants.
Brazilian playmaker Kaka opened the scoring after ten minutes with a powerful header, before Cristiano Ronaldo doubled the Galacticos lead before half-time.
The victory was wrapped up by Madrid midway through the second-half when Ricky Alvarez headed into his own goal, although it was the incident that was about to take place that the fans would be talking about after the game.
During the celebrations of Madrid's third goal, one fan took the opportunity to meet his heroes up close.
The fan ran onto the pitch whilst filming himself with his mobile phone to capture his moment with the stars on the pitch.
Before being escorted away by security, the young supporter struck a pose with goal-scorer Kaka and Spanish defender Sergio Ramos.
Luckily for us we have the footage from the fan's 15 seconds of fame that he will never forget, so cast your eyes upon this remarkable event in the footage above.
