Manchester United are reportedly considering bid for Real Madrid ace Mesut Ozil.

According to reports in Spain, Manchester United are ready to offer Real Madrid £40 million for German playmaker Ozil.

Ozil, who was heavily linked with the Red Devils in 2010, has contract with Real Madrid which runs until 2016.

The Spanish radio station Punto Pelota even claim that the 24-year-old will agree to move to Manchester United.

Real Madrid do not assure Ozil first team football from this season after the star signing of Malaga wonderkid Isco.

While, the Spanish giants are also close to a world record transfer of Tottenham striker Gareth Bale.

Ozil prefers regular football this season - eyeing to a key player for Germany for the next year's FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

While, David Moyes wait for his first marquee signing for his new club after failing to land top midfield targets Thiago Alcantara and Cesc Fabregas.

Ozil's arrival would push Shinji Kagawa further down the pecking order and also casts doubt over unsettled striker Wayne Rooney's future at the club.
