Despite declaring that he is very happy at Barcelona, Cesc Fabregas is still attracting interest from English champions Manchester United.
New United manager David Moyes is known to be a huge admirer of the 26-year-old and is determined to lure the former Arsenal skipper back to the Premier League.
According to reports in the Daily Telegraph, Manchester United are lining up an improved bid for the Spain international.
The Red Devils are believed to be lining up a bid of £40m for Fabregas in the final weeks of the transfer market.
Barcelona have already rejected two bids, but Moyes still feels there is a chance of landing the midfield maestro.
Moyes believes Fabregas still has doubts about his first-team opportunities at the Nou Camp, with guaranteed first-team opportunities available at Old Trafford.
At the moment the choice in central midfield for Moyes are Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley and Anderson. Darren Fletcher is still out with his illness and so the Red Devils are short of options in that area.
United have also been linked with a move for Marouane Fellaini of Everton. The Belgian is believed to be keen on a move to Old Trafford. where he would link up with his former boss.
Should Moyes capture both Fabregas and Fellaini then he would be adding depth and quality as well as great options in his pursuit of retaining the Premier League title.
