Kenny Miller is a Scotland regular. Although he has not got the best goals to game ratio, he has still given defenders a torrid time.
Miller has grabbed 18 goals in 69 appearances in the dark blue of Scotland, but with fresh talent coming through the ranks that play in a similar style to Kenny Miller - such as Jordan Rhodes - his time should be coming to an end.
Rhodes has scored an incredible amount of goals in the Championship and looks like he has the potential to be playing in the top flight very soon, which leads him to being a likely replacement for Miller.
Miller still possesses some threat to an opposition defence, but it seems as if it is not enough. In many of the games we have seen him play for the Tartan Army, he doesn’t possess enough goal scoring prowess to make the Scots a real threat on the international stage.
Miller has told the press that he doesn't want his goal against England to be his last for Scotland and he hopes he remains in Gordon Strachan's plans.
"We’ve got games to play against Belgium and Macedonia and I need to know if I’m going to be in the manager’s plans," he said.
Miller scored an outstanding goal against the Auld Enemy - a great little dummy to encourage the defender to step the wrong way and a cool finish on his weaker foot to put Scotland back in front.
After Miller’s incredible goal against England, perhaps this should be the time to call it a day.
